As a Buyer’s Agent I start the process of finding the perfect lake house by asking a lot of questions about what the client is looking for. Most everyone starts at the same place: flat lot, nice view, open floor plan, and year-round water. Finding all of these in a property is harder than you might think at a price that is acceptable or in an area you want to live. The more flexible you can be the better the “deal”. If you are not willing to compromise then finding a lot and building your own home may be a better route. There are a number of good lots on the lake but again…you have to be diligent to find them.
