Welcome to "Carol's Cottage" – your perfect retreat near Cullman and Smith Lake Park! This charming three-bedroom, two-bath cottage is the ideal getaway for families or groups of friends looking for a relaxing and enjoyable vacation.
As you step inside, you'll be greeted by the warmth of this lovely house, featuring two separate living areas, each equipped with its own television. The dining room, with seating for 10, provides the perfect setting for shared meals and memorable conversations. Additional seating is available in the kitchen and at the bar, ensuring everyone has a comfortable place to gather.
Step outside and discover the delights of outdoor living. Fire up the gas grill for a barbecue or gather around the fire pit in the front yard for cozy evenings under the stars. For those seeking water adventures, Carol's Cottage offers a paddleboard and kayak for your use on the lake.
Accessing the water is a breeze with approximately 30 steps leading down to the two-story dock. While the boat slip is not available for guest use, you can tie up to the side of the dock and enjoy the serene surroundings. Please note that there is no power on the dock.
Inside the cottage, you'll find thoughtfully appointed bedrooms:
Bedroom #1: King-size bed on the main level
Bedroom #2: Queen-size bed, along with 2 bunk beds (twin over twin), on the second floor
Bedroom #3: Queen-size bed on the second floor
Additional sleeping space in a twin over full bunk bed, located downstairs on the main level in a cozy "nook behind the fireplace" with a privacy curtain.
Stay connected during your stay with WiFi streaming available on televisions, powered by AT&T WiFi. Direct TV streaming is also at your disposal.

There are security cameras on the back deck and at the front door.
RESERVATIONS ARE NOT CONFIRMED UNTIL YOU RETURN THE RENTAL AGREEMENT TO SMITH LAKE RENTALS. NO after-prom, graduation, frat, wedding, etc parties. Any gathering larger than the Max occupancy has to be preapproved. Violation will result in eviction.

Our family was a party of ten (10) ranging from 73-10.<br/>Great place for a group with lots of space and beds.<br/>Very clean. We enjoyed the washer and dryer location. Convenient for wet clothes several times a day..<br/>They enjoyed relaxing on the back porch and swimming and jumping from boat dock.<br/>Very convenient to tie up our pontoon rental..<br/>We would definitely rent this location again.. great rental<br/>The walk to the lake was lots of steps, which did not deter the younger crowd..they ran up and down the steps like it was nothing. Kind of tough for the older ones. We found out it was easier to pick up the older ones at The Marina, which was a short drive by boat and auto.<br/>I would highly recommend this rental
Best vacation!
We had a family of 10 staying at Carols Cottage, we had plenty of room. The boys played on the dock even after getting off the boat! And there is no telling how many times they jumped off the top deck! They enjoyed moving rocks to see how tall they could stack them up! The water is some of the cleanest we have seen(being from Mississippi). The house had everything we needed from the kitchen to the bathroom! We loved the wood floors! Beds were comfortable! We enjoyed the deck and the windows looking over the lake! Very relaxing the best vacation we have been on in a while! We did bring all groceries and took sandwiches out on the boat! So we didn’t have to leave other than to go out on the boat. We definitely stay here again!

Booked for my daughter’s 14th bday party! Beautiful place, girls had a blast. It’s was perfect. Kitchen was very well stocked with everything you could possibly need. Beautiful home just as pictured. Would definitely book again.
