Welcome to "No Deadlines"!
This was a weekend house originally started in 1969 and completed in 1970 by a family of four consisting of a husband & wife with their two small boys. They did all the work themselves on the weekends from start to finish with the help of the husband’s father.
Nestled in a quiet cove off the main channel of Rock Creek, No Deadlines was extensively remodeled starting in 2024 and completed in 2025 by the oldest of the two sons and his wife. Originally the house consisted of two bedrooms and one bath with a low height basement for storage. The remodel included having the upper portion of the house raised to create more ceiling room in the basement so it could be finished for living quarters. The upstairs dining room, the downstairs bath and the lake storage room all were added on at this time as well. Remaining in the family but creating an environment for others to enjoy just as they did so many years ago.
With all the business in the world, it’s nice to be able to relax at a quiet shaded place on the lake and get back to the simple things in life such as family and friends and forget about any deadlines that may be waiting back at the office.
We truly hope you enjoy the lake fun, family, friends and relaxation as much as we do and create as many memories as possible.
Sleeps 10 in beds. Maximum occupancy: 10.
Dining room seats 6. Plus additional seating at table on deck.

Downstairs: Queen bed and two sets of bunk beds (twin over twin) with TV in room (this room is open to the basement, no door separating)

Boat dock. 2 slips available for guest's use. 10'x28' and 12'x28'. Plus one jetski port. Great fishing off the gangway!
2 paddleboards on the dock.
Yearround water. Approximately 45 feet at full pool.
Security cameras at front corner of house. All outward facing.
RESERVATIONS ARE NOT CONFIRMED UNTIL YOU RETURN THE RENTAL AGREEMENT TO SMITH LAKE RENTALS. NO after-prom, graduation, frat, wedding, etc parties. Any gathering larger than the Max occupancy has to be preapproved. Violation will result in eviction.
PLEASE BE AWARE THAT THE PRIMARY RENTER MUST MEET THE AGE REQUIREMENT OF 25 YEARS OF AGE.
Watercraft provided for guests: 1 sit-in kayak.
Parking & docking: parking for 8 vehicles; boat trailer parking for 2 trailers; 1 jet-ski port.

Wonderful property at a great location on Smith Lake. Convenient to marinas, excellent amenities and beautiful lake views. The home is new, immaculately clean and super comfortable. We really enjoyed our time and highly recommend!

This property is beautiful! It was perfect for our girls weekend. So many of us kept saying that we wanted to just move in because it is just a beautiful home. The stairs to the water are fairly steep, but doable and worth it in our opinion. We loved being in a quieter section of the lake, more relaxing and calm water. This home is close to a convenient store and Trident Marina, for quick options for food and entertainment. We went to Trident for dinner and had the best time with live music, and it was only 12 minutes away. I will definitely be back! Thank you for a wonderful place to relax and have girl time.

Fantastic vacation house
The house was incredibly clean. It was just as described. The amenities were great with the kids having a blast with the paddle boards. The kitchen was setup great for cooking with plenty of space to sit down and eat. Definitely recommend staying here
No Deadlines lived up to the name
We had a wonderful stay at No Deadlines. The house was spotless, beautifully remodeled, and sat in a quiet little cove with easy water access right off the dock. The layout worked great for our family with teens: the walkout basement was set up for our teenage boys, the two upstairs bedrooms were for the adults, and the upstairs deck with the dining table became our favorite spot for meals with the lake view.<br/><br/>A nice bonus that wasn't mentioned in the listing: two paddleboards and a double kayak were on the property and ready to use. One thing to note for future renters: no life jackets were provided, so plan to bring your own. The charcoal grill worked great for grilling out as a family. Don't forget to bring a lighter or matches.<br/><br/>Management was easy to work with. I texted a couple of times during the stay and they were quick to respond.<br/><br/>We'd happily come back.
