We’ve rented this Turtle Rock lake house multiple times. It’s always clean and well outfitted, from the kitchen to the bedrooms. There’s enough room to be spread out including the deck over looking the water. The covered pier is perfect to relax. The location maybe the best part. It’s a very quiet inlet where families can kayak, swim, or just float. You are far away from the busy thoroughfare. Through the years we have rented boats and jet skis from the local shops, if you want to get out of the cove and cruise. I really can’t recommend it enough.
A Perfect Smith Lake Getaway! Our family had an absolutely incredible stay at this lake house in Arley. The home itself is fantastic—beautifully maintained, comfortable, and equipped with every amenity you could possibly need. The kitchen is fully stocked with high-quality gear, which made cooking meals for the whole crew a breeze after a long day outside. The absolute highlight of the property is its location on the water. The house sits right on a beautiful, protected cove. Because it's tucked away from the main channel, the water is exceptionally calm, making it a perfectly safe and relaxing spot for the kids to swim and float all afternoon. Even with that peaceful seclusion, it’s still just a quick boat ride out to the main lake when we wanted to find some deep water for wakesurfing. We couldn't have asked for a better setup for a family vacation. We highly recommend this property and can't wait to book our next trip back!
This lake house was the absolute reset I didn’t know I needed. From the second we walked in, the view of the water felt like a literal painting, but the real star of the show was the private dock. Having that direct access to the water changed the whole vibe. We spent our mornings having coffee on the deck overlooking the water. The house itself hit that perfect balance of rustic charm and modern comfort.. We spent our days swimming and soaking in the sun. If you’re looking for a spot where the only "noise" is nature, this is it. I left feeling completely recharged and already checking the calendar to rebook. Family reunion each summer for last 3 summers. 12 people. All ages.
We had an amazing stay at this lake house. The property is exactly what you want for a Smith Lake trip—peaceful, beautiful views, and plenty of space for everyone to relax. The house is clean, comfortable, and well set up for families or groups looking to enjoy the lake. One of the best parts is the location. Smith Lake is known for its clear water and scenic shoreline, and this place puts you right in the middle of it. Waking up with coffee on the deck overlooking the water and ending the day watching the sunset by the lake was hard to beat. The house itself is well maintained and thoughtfully equipped. Everything we needed for cooking, relaxing, and enjoying time together was already there. The outdoor areas were perfect for hanging out after a day on the water. If you’re looking for a relaxing lake vacation with great views, comfortable accommodations, and easy lake access, this is a great choice. We would absolutely stay here again.
Adults plus two boys and their friends that have 3 children. Repeat. Several times over last 2 years. We loved how spacious this rental is, all the extras they offer (boat slip, games for kids, fire pit, too much to list), being close to town for forgotten items, and just the overall peace and quiet!! Our kids are huge fans with all the kid friendly activities available. We are repeat visitors and look forward to visiting again.
