Featuring 3 spacious bedrooms, 2 full baths, and a cozy bunk room downstairs, as well as a loft area - Thistle Brae is perfect for family getaways, hosting friends, or creating unforgettable summer memories. Whether you're sipping coffee on the deck, watching the sun rise over the water, or enjoying evening boat rides, every moment here feels like a peaceful escape. Located just minutes from Lakeshore Marina and a popular drive-up boat restaurant, you're never far from fun on the water or a great bite to eat. Whether you’re boating, swimming, fishing, or simply relaxing, Thistle Brae offers the perfect balance of comfort, convenience, and lakeside charm. Come experience life at the lake – your getaway begins at Thistle Brae. Bedroom 1: King size bed Bedroom 2: Full size bed Bedroom 3: Queen size bed Additional sleeping in downstairs bunk beds (Twin over full). Charcoal grill and a BGE. Large swim dock. Year-round water. Boat slip is not available to guests. Guests can tie up to the side of the dock. One PWC port available for guests use for a jet ski. Security camera at front door. This property is pet-friendly. Guest will be charged a pet fee of $25/night/pet plus an extra cleaning fee. MUST BE 25 YEARS OF AGE TO RENT. RESERVATIONS ARE NOT CONFIRMED UNTIL GUEST SIGNS THE RENTAL AGREEMENT TO SMITH LAKE RENTALS. NO after-prom, graduation, frat, wedding, etc parties. Any gathering larger than the Max occupancy has to be preapproved. Violation will result in eviction.

This cabin was great for our family vacation. The location to the lake was perfect and had all needed amenities. Added bonus that it was pet friendly and a very clean property!

Thistle Brae at Smith Lake
Rating Details: The property manager was very helpful. The vacation rental was spotless. I was more than happy with the location. I was more than satisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: My family and I usually go to the beach every summer but decided to try Smith Lake this year. We had a wonderful time. It was kind of like the beach but without the sand. We took our pontoon so that we could enjoy other areas of the lake, but I think my grands enjoyed the swimming pier the most. The property was clean and had everything we needed. Andrea was very helpful on the day we arrived when we were having trouble getting into the rental. The room in the basement could use some extra air conditioning, it wasn't as cool as the other parts of the house. There's a lot of steps down and up to the swim pier, but it was so worth it. We took all of our food and cooked all of our meals there.My family enjoyed this trip, and we hope to visit again next summer.
