COME RELAX AT SMITH LAKE RETREAT! This retreat located in Cullman County, overlooks beautiful Smith Lake and includes a multi-level dock perfect for sun-bathing and swimming off the dock. The interior includes 4 bedrooms, sleeping 10 people, and three full baths and a laundry room. There is also a fully equipped kitchen, and gas grill for your cooking needs. A short boat ride or drive to Trident Marina for a lunch, dinner or cocktail. Enjoy the beautiful nature of Smith Lake or it is also a short drive into Cullman, for dining, shopping and local festivals! Bedroom #1: King size bed - main level Bedroom #2:King size bed - main level Bedroom #3: Two twin size beds - lower level Bedroom #4: Two twin size beds, Twin over twin bunk bed - lower level Sleeps in beds: 10; Max Occupancy: 10 WiFi Internet. Gas Grill. Approximately 55 steps to the dock. Double decker dock. No power on the dock. RESERVATIONS ARE NOT CONFIRMED UNTIL YOU RETURN THE RENTAL AGREEMENT TO SMITH LAKE RENTALS. NO after-prom, graduation, frat, wedding, etc parties. Any gathering larger than the Max occupancy has to be preapproved. Violation will result in eviction. PLEASE BE AWARE THAT THE PRIMARY RENTER MUST MEET THE AGE REQUIREMENT OF 25 YEARS OF AGE

Beautiful views and fun dock to play on. Great for a quick weekend away.

Good potential but had issues with our stay
This home would have been a perfect stay for a large family like ours with plenty of space and comfortable beds. It also has a beautiful view and nice new deck to enjoy with plenty of space in the home. However, there was a significant issue with spiders (I’m not talking like a couple here and there, we found dozens and dozens throughout the home and woke up with some crawling on us) and there was construction that had been done leaving dozens of nails & screws all over the driveway. Thankfully no one got one up their foot or tire but we had to go through a cleanup ourselves of this issue. There was a miscommunication with the house cleaners and they arrived the day after we checked in so we are not sure if the place was even cleaned beforehand. If you book, do be aware they expect you to communicate through phone with the property management company directly and not the VRBO app despite this being the mechanism for booking. This caused delays in responses to our concerns. Also if power goes out, there is no generator. Not entirely in the owners control of course but if you have critical needs for power or food in fridge, there’s not a backup option. I am confident the owners can remediate the issues with spraying for bugs and ensuring construction crews do a better job of cleanup after working on the deck or other parts of the home, but it was not a great experience for us on our family reunion trip.
Great location on the lake
Perfect location on the lake. The house was as described. Children had the ground floor with foosball and lots of movies.
Always love staying here
Great home in a great location
The home was nice and tidy and plenty of space. The road is narrow and rough and launching a boat is a bit inconvenient. All in all great experience!
