L & L Lodge (Leslie and Louise Lodge) - Beautiful home and gorgeous lake view! LOCATED in the gated community of Stoney Point Landing. Super easy access to the lake. With a quality boat ramp located less than 1 mile from the house, you can have your boat in the water in no time and return to the comfort of your vacation home. And with additional parking and a children's playground and pavilion located at the community boat ramp, everyone in your group is sure to have a great time
Dining room seats 6, with an additional 3 at the bar. Also, downstairs seats 6 at a table and 3 at the bar. On the porch there are two 6-top tables. Bedrooms 1-3 are on the main level. Bedrooms 4 and 5 are downstairs.
Relax on the screened in porch OR outside while playing cornhole or croquet. Enjoy the fire pit in the evening.
Only 4 steps down to the dock. Dock has 2 slips available and there are kayaks in the garage for you to explore the beauty of Smith Lake.

Six bedrooms/ 5 bathrooms. Sleeps 14 in beds and maximum occupancy of 15.
Bedroom 1: King size bed on main level.
Bedroom 2: Queen size bed on main level.
Bedroom 3: Queen size bed on main level.
Bedroom 4: King size bed downstairs.
Bedroom 5: Queen size bed downstairs. (Additional sleeping on fold-out ottoman downstairs (1 person).
Bedroom 6: Mother-in-law Suite, located above garage: Queen size bed, full bath and kitchenette and living area with couch and twin size bed.
Pet-Friendly home (under 35 lbs.). Owner provides a crate. Guest will be charged a pet fee of $25/night/pet plus an extra cleaning fee. 2 dogs maximum.
Two bicycles for guest’s use. Must be returned to the garage after use.
Kayaks for guests’ use. Must be returned to their storage place in the garage after use.
Security cameras: Located outside facing out from the house.
Wifi Internet provided.
Gas grill.
Fire pit.
PLEASE BE AWARE THAT THE PRIMARY RENTER MUST MEET THE AGE REQUIREMENT OF 25 YEARS OF AGE.
* NO after-prom, graduation, frat, wedding, etc parties. Any gathering larger than the Max occupancy has to be preapproved. Violation will result in eviction.

We couldn’t have asked for a more perfect setup! Our son was getting married at The Barn at Shady Grove, and L&L Lodge was ideally located—just about 20 minutes from the venue and approximately an hour and 20 minutes from the Birmingham airport, which made travel so easy for our family flying in.The home was exceptionally clean, comfortable, and perfect for gathering with family and friends. Everything was well maintained, thoughtfully arranged, and truly felt welcoming from the moment we arrived. We especially appreciated how pet-friendly it was, which made our stay even more enjoyable.Andrea was a wonderful host—very responsive, helpful, and made the entire process seamless. It’s clear she takes great pride in her property and her guests’ experience.We highly recommend this property and would absolutely stay here again!

Rating Details: The property manager was more than helpful. The vacation rental was very clean. I was more than happy with the location. I was satisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: Unfortunately we had 3 couples in the group who did NOT need to be using the steep stairs. That made it hard. Also, there needs to be better lighting in the upstairs kitchen...maybe can lights. There were no glasses in the downstairs kitchen.This place would be better suited for a family with children. It has wonderful outdoor facilities. I just wish we could have made better use of them. Overall, this is not the house for us. It, however, would be great for younger people.

The garage extras like pickleball gear and chairs were a great bonus. The dock was easily accessible with no steps, and the kitchen was well-stocked with spices. The only downside was spotty Wi-Fi, which made it hard for those needing to work online during the day. Overall we had a great time and would stay there again.
