"Kelley's Southern Comfort" - Scenic lot located on a point of Smith Lake - with beautiful long range views. The lakeside of the house faces the south, with east to west sun exposure - providing breathtaking sunsets! Also seen from the point are views of Duncan Bridge and Clear Creek. This house is located minutes from the town of Arley and is in sight of Duncan Bridge Marina.
Gorgeous cottage with covered porches across the front and back of the house! The screened porch facing the lake, spans the length of the house and is perfect for watching the sunset. There is a spacious flat lawn leading down to the dock, with a fire pit for your enjoyment. The gas log fireplace (inside) is available for Winter rentals during the cooler months.
There is a boat launch on the property. The dock includes a covered boat slip with additional places to tie off, and a swim pier. Lily pad, cornhole and Giant Jenga for entertainment.
There is no power to the dock. The water level at the dock is good until 498 msl (full pool is 510 msl). The boat ramp on the property is good to 500 msl. Check for water levels.
There are two flat screen TV's on the property, one in the living room, one in the family room.
Both televisions have DIRECT TV satellite service.
The house has WIFI internet service.
Fully stocked kitchen with a Keurig coffee maker and traditional drip style coffee maker.

RESERVATIONS ARE NOT CONFIRMED UNTIL YOU RETURN THE RENTAL AGREEMENT TO SMITH LAKE RENTALS. NO after-prom, graduation, frat, wedding, etc parties. Any gathering larger than the Max occupancy has to be preapproved. Violation will result in eviction.
PLEASE BE AWARE THAT THE PRIMARY RENTER MUST MEET THE AGE REQUIREMENT OF 25 YEARS OF AGE.

Beautiful place with great location, but needs some attention
We loved the location of the property and the overall arrangement and layout. However, it was not as clean as we would have like (mold on both shower curtains, items left under beds and in drawers by previous renters). Also, the coffee maker did not work, and I had to call twice to get told to go purchase one, and I would get reimbursed. One ceiling fan on the porch did not work. I reported this but never heard back from the property manager. Finally, we were told there was power at the end of the walkway to the dock. That power cable had been severed. In spite of these problems, the porch is fabulous, and we enjoyed beautiful sunsets while swimming from the dock. The house is spacious and worked well for our family of five adults. We would rent again if we knew these problems had been fixed.
Thanks for your feedback. Fan is being replaced...very difficult to do while guests are there. Let us know if you did not get reimbursed for the coffee pot and thanks for getting this. Would have take a while for us to get one to you. Not sure what happened on the power as we have not had power on dock for years...took it off for safety reasons and there is no need for power on the dock. We will address the under bed items with cleaners. Also, they do not typically check drawers for things left behind unless a previous guest has alerted us to this. Again, thanks for your feedback. We work diligently to have the properties as good as we can. Please come back.
Honeymoon
We had amazing time spending our honeymoon in the cozy lake house and spending time on the screened in back porch. Perfect getaway! Would definitely recommend to others.
Great house on the water.
We had a great time although short at the house. Our son got married at Hidden Cover so it worked out well. Would definitely recommend to anyone wanting an awesome house on the water. Thanks again!! David & Linda Wheeler
