GREAT LOCATION!!! This lovely home is located conveniently 2 doors down from Duskin Point Marina. 4 bedrooms/ 3.5 bathrooms. Complete living spaces, including full kitchens, upstairs and downstairs. Large upstairs deck with great views of Smith Lake, and a walk-out patio downstairs with hammock and seating. This house has an easy walk down to the 2-slip boat dock. Upstairs dining area seats 6 with an additional 3 at the bar, plus outdoor seating. The downstairs has an eating area and bar seating, a second living room for watching tv, and a full kitchen. Gas fireplaces are not operable.
Sleeps 14 in beds; Maximum Occupancy: 14
Bedroom 1: Full size bed with bathroom on hall - on main level
Bedroom 2: King size bed - with TV, private bath (jacuzzi tub, double sinks) and opens out to the back deck - on main level
Bedroom 3: Queen size bed and King size bed - bathroom in utility room - located on lower level
Bedroom 4: 2 sets of bunk beds (Twin over full) - located on lower level
Dock has two boat slips available for the guest's use. Lily pad swim mat. No power on the dock. Year-round water.
RESERVATIONS ARE NOT CONFIRMED UNTIL YOU RETURN THE RENTAL AGREEMENT TO SMITH LAKE RENTALS. NO after-prom, graduation, frat, wedding, etc parties. Any gathering larger than the Max occupancy has to be preapproved. Violation will result in eviction.
PLEASE BE AWARE THAT THE PRIMARY RENTER MUST MEET THE AGE REQUIREMENT OF 25 YEARS OF AGE.
Parking & docking: parking for 4 vehicles; boat trailer parking for 2 trailers.

Overall a nice rental but the beds in the bunk room were not comfortable. Like sleeping on springs.A couple of mice were downstairs and there was old food in refrigerator and freezer downstairs. We didn't use them.

Problems with pest, live and dead bugs in pots, pans and dishes. The landscape has over taken the paths and home. The paths have mold and mildew that are dangerous to navigate after rain. Two guest slipped and fell before they got to the ramp for the deck. The stater amenities for bathroom toilet paper, paper towels and garbage bags is too limited for the size of the home and the amount of people it sleeps. I do not recommend this property in its current condition.

We stayed at Duskin Point Retreat. The house is huge, basically a unit on each floor with kitchens, living rooms and bedrooms on both floors. It was quiet, clean and very spacious with a kitchen that has everything you could possibly need. Its right on the lake in a quiet cove that looks out on the lake, beautiful. Can't see much from the decks because of overgrowth of trees, bushes etc. Walkways are not well kept, branches, nuts, leaves. We swept the decks upon arrival.

This house is large with plenty of room for a large family. Set up like a multi family unit with 2 kitchens etc. The kitchen had every time of pan, cup, bowl, utensil you could need. It was very peaceful and easy to find. I can imagine one day, this was the house to be at. Could use some modernization inside but works as is.

They communicate very well. There was a small miscommunication between them and the owner so when we arrived the house hadn’t been cleaned. They were very accommodating and had someone come and clean the house asap. Very nice.
