A double decker dock with deep water off the dock for fun in the water! Kayaks for the renter's use. All the amenities you need inside the house, including a Smart TV, WiFi, board games, fully equipped kitchen, and gas grill. Enjoy the beautiful nature of Smith Lake or it is also a short drive into Cullman, for dining, shopping and local festivals! Bedroom #1: Queen size bed - main level Bedroom #2:Queen size bed - main level Bedroom #3: Queen size bed - lower level Bedroom #4: Queen size bed - main level Additional sleeping on the sleeper sofa in the family room. 2 full baths, one on the main level and one on the lower level. Sleeps in beds: 8 Max Occupancy: 8 Huge dock with 24' x 10' boat slip.Swim docks are 30' x 14' and 10' x6'. Top level is 32' x 14' with a"jump" point! There are no steps to the dock. There is no power on the dock. Yearround water. 2 kayaks with paddles. Please Note: The owner has Security Cameras installed at the front door and the dock. RESERVATIONS ARE NOT CONFIRMED UNTIL YOU RETURN THE RENTAL AGREEMENT TO SMITH LAKE RENTALS. NO after-prom, graduation, frat, wedding, etc parties. Any gathering larger than the Max occupancy has to be preapproved. Violation will result in eviction. PLEASE BE AWARE THAT THE PRIMARY RENTER MUST MEET THE AGE REQUIREMENT OF 25 YEARS OF AGE

Excellent stay at Crane’s Nest! Beautiful home, awesome dock and in a great part of the lake. Not too far from Cullman which has the most awesome brewery I have ever visited - Goat Island Brewing! Highly recommend staying here for a relaxing getaway on the lake, and definitely recommend a visit to Goat Island during your stay!

Property needs some work
Overall ok. Just a place to sleep … the smell upon opening the door was overwhelming (moth balls and chemical air deodorizers)…. The house is cute for what it is, and they’ve done a good job of putting a face lift on it. The outdoor fire pit was very nice. That said, it all just left something to be desired.,, would not stay here again.
When the AC has been off a while (it is the offseason) then can be the case. Owner is installing WIFI thermostats so they can get normalized. This home is a ranch style house that has been updated as well as it can be. See the pictures. Not sure I understand a 3 star review when there are no real complaints. The pictures are very representative of the property. If you want a clean, affordable property with a lot of space, awesome water, views and no waves...this is it.
