Peaceful, tranquil, family friendly. This property is a gem off the beaten path where you can truly unwind and relax if you want. The location on the water is great for kids because you are tucked into a slough with no boat traffic and choppy waters like you experience on the main channels. The water was always calm making it perfect for the kayaks and paddle boards generously provided. We packed our own firewood and skewers and enjoyed s’mores over the fire pit too! The home was very clean and comfortable overall. The kitchen was stocked with basic kitchen tools and utensils. We did not find a wine bottle opener or measuring cups larger than a tablespoon so we had to improvise on those needs. Otherwise we had everything we needed for simple meals. We had ample bath linens for our big family but did lack places to hang them to keep them fresh. One small convenience that would have been nice is towel rings near bathroom sinks for hand towels and hooks or towel bars in the bathrooms for wet towels and swimsuits. In a lake or beach home you can never have too many places to hang wet things! I’m still giving it a perfect review because those are such minor details—some people may not even notice! We would definitely stay here again! Next time I will bring my corkscrew and maybe a folding clothes drying rack. We made the sweetest family memories and would highly recommend this property for your lake-cation!

This house is new construction directly on the lake. The host was communcative via text message; offering an extended stay and reasonable when we accidentally caused some damage. The area was nice and we would definately return during boating season.
