PRIVATE BOAT LAUNCH on the property! Fabulous 4 bedroom / 3 bath house conveniently located on Dismal Creek, just minutes from Duncan Bridge Marina. The house features an open floor plan with the kitchen, den and living area all combined. Large deck overlooking the lake for you to enjoy the beauty of a Smith Lake sunset. The dining room seats 8 and 4 more can sit at the kitchen bar. This house has a gorgeous scenic view of the lake! It is an easy walk to the dock, on a gently sloping sidewalk. Boat ramp on the property! Put your boat in conveniently at the house! Charcoal and gas grill. The private dock has 1 boat slip with boat lift available for the renter's use. Lily pad floatation mat for guests use. Yearround water. There is an extra level of safety at the dock provided by DC power and Solar Power on the dock. Very spacious for our big family. The bunk room was great for all of the grandkids. The view from the living/kitchen area, back porch and top deck were fantastic. The dock area had a nice swim deck and plenty of room for our rentals. The cove was quiet enough but large enough to ski and tube in. We had a blast and loved the location. No more than a 20 minute boat ride to Duncan marine to get gas or rent a boat.

The house was big enough for all of us to spread out at bedtime but still enjoy time together in the large kitchen and family room. The dock was large enough for swimming and allowed space for our boats. It was off the main body of the lake so the water was fairly calm and away from the large wake boats, a plus with small children. We had an issue with trash pickup the first day but management responded quickly and handled it. We would definitely stay here again!

We were hesitant to try another house but Blue View did not disappoint. The property description is accurate. Our party was large - 3 families with 15 people and there was plenty of room for all of us. Booking was easy, the management company was very helpful and responsive, the kitchen was well stocked with spices, oils, trash bags, soap, etc. We used the Blackstone grill every morning. The decks were lovely and the weather was perfect. The Lily Pad was a huge hit with the kids and adults. We like this part of the lake because it is so quiet. This house has its own boat launch which is very convenient and the main reason we chose this house over others. As a STR cleaner, I am fully aware of how much house this is to turn over but I have to say that it needs a good deep cleaning and why I am giving this house only 3 stars for cleanliness. Everything else was great!

Excellent property for our extended family to stay during theThanksgiving holiday. The leaves were stunning. Would totally recommend.
Wonderful Family Reunion
Our family connected together from 3 different states in this beautiful home on our beloved Smith Lake. The house was clean and lovely. The kitchen was well supplied for cooking, including a second refrigerator. Very helpful. There was plenty of space for dining and it was helpful having two separate gathering areas. The beds were comfortable and the bunk room worked great for our grandchildren. The host and Smith Lake Rentals were friendly and very helpful. The house location on the lake was great. Not a lot of traffic and a short drive (by water) to the marina. The sidewalk down to the water is pretty steep, but it helped us walk off some of our snacking! Our family would highly recommend this place.

Fabulous House on Smith Lake
This house is amazing! It is the most well stocked place I have ever stayed. With two grills, a Blackstone, and a full kitchen with two refrigerators we were able to cook all of our planned meals without any hiccups. (This is good since the closest store isn’t all that close.) The views from the wonderful decks are wonderful! There is plenty of comfortable seating too. Only slight drawback are the many large potholes along the last 1-2 miles of the road leading to the house. We are glad we had vehicles able to navigate this. Once you arrive at the house and see the lovely inside and look at the view of the lake, nothing else seems to matter much.
